08/16/10 Al went Gator hunting again this year. We put a few pictures on the web site.
08/16/10 We have added two new pictures of Swampy at his new home. Thank you Sherry & Greg Patrias for the pictures!
08/10/10 We have added new photos of Bali. Our daughter Cammey was down for a brief visit the first few days in July and took some new pictures. Her black points are faded now by our extreme Florida sun but she is definitely black roan.

In the next few days we will also be adding a couple new pictures of Swampy with his new owners Sherry and Greg Patrias.

02/27/10 Valorina has foaled a feisty, coal black filly! Until now Val has had all colts. We have been hoping for a filly for some time so we are thrilled. We posted some cell phone pix of her. Thank you Dale Franquemont! We are working on a name.

02/10/10 Stay tuned for new pictures! Our daughter Cammey was down this week for the State Fair and lots of horse back riding. She took new pictures of most of the horses. We'll get them posted as soon as possible.
01/23/10 On January 2nd Mandy, who comes to ride with Nancy once a week, brought her 3 year old daughter Laurel for her first ride. We added a new Activities page to share a couple pictures of the 3 of them.

We have also added a picture of *Esperanza de Onrubia. Esperanza was our first Peruvian mare. She was imported from Peru in utero and is sired by the great *Piloto. These pictures were taken in the early 1980's at our Peruvian horse farm, Valle de los Cabellos, located in Dodge, WI. You will find Esperanza in the back ground of several of our horses. She was a wonderful producing mare.
8/24/09 Gloria sent great new pictures of Espiritu. These were taken August 9th, riding at O'Leno State Park. They sure enjoyed their ride.
8/05/09 We've added a picture of GJ Azabache, a very pretty black colt by Felipe. He is owned by Bonnie Gjerseth in Wisconsin.
7/26/09 We have reduced the price of Jubilee for a limited time. With her training she is one of our most saleable horses

7/24/09 We have added a new mare to "The Girls" page. SP Espiritu de Alhaja is a gorgeous red mare. She is owned by a good friend of ours Gloria Grant. This young mare has ALOT of potential in several different disciplines. Contact Gloria at (352) 473-6613 for more info.
7/16/09 We've added a couple great pictures of Felipe's "kids", one of RDCR Amigo Travieso and a 1 year birthday picture of Isabela de la Luna.
6/06/09 New pictures of Jubilee! What a beautiful mare and she goes so nice on a loose rein and really moves out well on the trail!
6/05/09 We've added another Activities page. Early in February this year, Al's brother and family came for a visit. There are a few pictures of our grand nephews enjoying the horses.
05/19/09 Retirement Sale! It is with much sadness that we must acknowledge we are fast approaching retirement. Al & I have decided to make available our excellent quality mares and riding horses at reduced prices. We will keep a small group to enjoy in our retirement.

Jubilee is going nicely in the bit and is currently putting on lots of trail miles at O'Leno State Park, near High Springs, with Erica Bryant, and Aixa will be started under saddle this coming spring. They both will also make excellent breeding mares! We also have two yearling geldings at affordable prices, both being very quality horses, as well as a 3 year old gelding that is doing great in the bozal. He did amazingly well at his first show, took everything in stride, and he is probably the most “natural” of all Peruvians we have ever owned. He will offer one heck of a luxury ride!

Consider these quality horses and let us know if you have any questions or would like to come for a visit. Good homes are a must!

03/01/09 Beni has a new home with Dan Wotton and we are thrilled! They will be doing 4-H together and are already training, walking trails, learning to back, voice commands... We will post more pictures as they come our way. We could not have wished for a better home for Beni. These two were meant for each other!
02/15/09 Early in February Al's brother and family came for a visit. We posted a few pictures of our grand nephews enjoying the horses on a new Activities Page.

10/03/08 We added a new picture of HVP Joya de la Noche. She is a filly by Felipe, owned by Tammy & Mark Woodward of MN. Joya is a real black beauty!
We also added two new pictures of another Felipe daughter, Isabela de la Luna, owned by Dale & Lori Radcliff of MI. What a flashy girl!

04/29/08 Valorina has just foaled her 4th foal. He is by Amanecer, has 3 white stockings, one sock and a small half crescent on his forehead. We think he will be a roan like his mom. Both mama and baby are doing well. We'll post pictures as soon as possible.
04/13/08 Today we drove down to visit Peggy & Boogie Waller and we'd like to thank them for our visit. We really enjoyed seeing Nostalgia and Adoracion again. We've added a new picture of Felipe's first foal, Adoracion. She is growing into a beautiful mare and she is so sweet.

04/07/08 We are excited to announce Victoria has just foaled her first foal, a beautiful chestnut colt by Felipe. "Lucky" is a big colt and has a star on his forehead but, unlike Victoria, he does not have ANY white on his legs. He is strong, already gaiting circles around his mama at only 2 hours old. We've just posted a few pictures taken at 24 hrs old. Thank you June for the pictures!
03/18/08 Little Al, Amanecer, Jubilee & Carma are now in Wisconsin at Black River Peruvians. Little Al will be FINISHING his training with Master Chalan Segundo Castaneda. Amanecer is standing at stud and Jubilee & Carma will be STARTING their training with Segundo. He is an excellent trainer and we have the utmost confidence in him.

03/20/07 We've uploaded new pictures of Little Al (Alboroso) in the 4-reins. Our daughter Cammey took these pictures while she was visiting from MN. These were taken on 2/26.
03/12/07 We added a new mare to the mare's page. Greta Garbo "Velvet" is owned by Oak Hammock Farm of Newberry, FL. She is with us for a few months for training with Jose. Velvet has such natural reach and drive in the rear! If you are interested in her please call Marilyn at 352-665-1052.
02/15/07 It's another boy!!! Valorina has foaled a big bay colt, SP Bendicion! He has no white on his face and two socks on his hind legs. We'll post pictures as soon as possible.

07/12/06 FINALLY, Chipper's new pictures are here! Thank you June for such beautiful pictures! These were taken at the SPHC Peruvian Hose Show, before his very first class ever and he did so well. We are so proud of him!
07/08/06 We have added a few pictures of Victoria taken at the trainer's in May. She is back home now with our daughter at Summit Peruvians North in Winona, MN and doing very well under saddle.

04/10/06 Our daughter came down for the SPHC Peruvian Horse Show. She has taken new pictures of some of the horses and we'll be posting those over the next few weeks. Carmesi and Gloria's new pics have already been added and coming soon are Swampy, Senisa, & Chipper.
04/09/06 Chipper just went to his first show and placed 2nd of 5 in the Luxury Geldings class at the SPHC Peruvian Horse Show. We told Nancy that taking 2nd to WF Cacique who was the 2004 US National Champion Performance Gelding & the 2004 US National Champion of Champions Amateur Perf/Pleas Gelding wasn't so bad! Way to go Nancy & Chipper! Woo Hoo!!!

12/16/05 Valorina has foaled a flashy, very vigorous colt! We have anxiously awaited this 2nd foal from her and couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From his mother, "Swampy" has inherited the incredible gateado gait. He also has inherited the flashy knee action and upheaded elegant presence of his father. This colt may very well be our next stallion candidate!

06/12/05 We have added new pictures of Felipe at his first show, the 2005 Gaitway Classic in St. Louis, MO! He placed 3rd in a large class Stallions Gait and 2nd place in Breeding Stallions 4 to 6 years. We are very excited about his show debut and wanted to share the pictures right away.
