Judging and Clinics

Edith Gandy, the owner of Omega Farm, is a nationally-recognized judge of Paso horses. She has also judged the National Championship Show for Rocky Mountain Horses. With over 25 years of experience, she is a knowledgeable judge who is known for fairness and objectivity.

Ms. Gandy conducts clinics for a number of local and regional clubs and breed organizations. Please email for a list of upcoming clinics.

Consulting Services

We Offer the following consulting services:

Herd Selection/Evaluation- A valuable service for new breeders as well as those who simply want to assess or upgrade the quality of their herd, Ms. Gandy uses a 20 item "Quality Scorecard" to evaluate each horse against the breed standard. A written evaluation of each horse is provided to enable the owner to make informed breeding and selection decisions.

Valuation and Appraisal- There are times when it is important to know the value of your horse. Appraisals are often needed for insurance, divorce settlements, estate sales, or tax-deductions for charitable donations. Ms. Gandy combines her "Quality Scorecard" process with a database of recent horse sales and prices to provide an objective assessment of the worth of your horse.

Sales/Purchasing Assistance- We maintain an active list of potential buyers as well as a list of horses for sale around the country. If you are interested in buying or selling a Paso horse, we may be able to help.
